Hoover's Hatchery

Hoover's Hatchery is by far the most unique and successful E-Commerce site we have built to date. We were approached by Hoover's Hatchery as they wanted redo their current site into an E-commerce site. Since chicken's aren't the typical product sold on the Internet, many unique features had to be built into this shopping cart.

Hoover's needed a way to set multiple options for male, female or straight run chickens along with options for each. In addition there are minimum orders and small order fees that need to be accounted for. Also, shipping for live chicks is done through special pricing so an elaborate shipping method had to be created.

Hoover's was set up with an Authorize.net gateway and a merchant account through First Data that we referred them to. This alone will save them thousands of dollars a year and allow them to be able to accept credit card transactions securely.
